Pakenham Little Athletics Centre - New Committee

Pakenham Little Athletics Centre has a new Committee.

The top two positions are held by:

President - Lisa Sykes

Vice President - Rohan Nancarrow

More details will be published later on our website in the coming weeks regarding our other Committee members and our Centre.

Please note also that the Summer Season will most likely begin on 06.10.12 with registrations taking place during September 2012.

We look forward to seeing you then.

In the mean time there is always Cross Country to keep you fit and active during the Winter months.

Pakenham Little Athletics 2012 Cross Country Season

Pakenham Little Athletics will be running a reduced Cross Country season this year.

The season will run from Saturday 5^th May 2012 until August 2012 (final day to be confirmed) and will be held at 25 White Lane, Upper Beaconsfield.

Competitors should arrive at the venue from 8:30am in time for the first race at 9:00am.

The cost for the season is $50 per athlete or $5 per morning (Open runners only).

The age groupings for participation are:

U6-8
U9-10
U11-12
U13-15
Open Short
Open Long

The above age groups are usually combined so that we run four races per morning only, rather than one per age grouping.

Because this will be the first time that we have used this venue for Cross Country there may be some changes to the actual race distances; however we can guarantee every participant that they will truly be experiencing a Cross Country run.

In order to gauge the level of interest for Cross Country, if people could register their interest via email, this would assist us in making sure the event runs smoothly.
